Lead Generation for Sales People – reduce cold calling and have your prospects call YOU

Imagine what it would be like to have your ideal client call you up and ask you to meet – so you can decide if what you offer is right for them.

How much easier would it be – in terms of confidence, positioning, and time saved – to have prospects call YOU?

Facebook – Linked In – Direct Mail – Google: there are so many options. Where do you start?

“Thank you for the time you spent at the Honda Australia meeting… it was the most informative and beneficial training session that I have ever been involved in during my 26 years in the Motor Industry. Your wealth of knowledge on what seems to be such a complex, and important issue, was overwhelming.”
Honda Australia

‘Your sales course highlighted that simple techniques can really work.  They have been much more effective at getting clients to say ‘yes’. Highly recommended.”
Pricewaterhouse Coopers Australia

The year is coming to an end, and it’s worthwhile to ask yourself:

What has changed?

How will 2012 be any different?

What can YOU do to make it different?

People in sales often share a common malady – “Once I get to the right person, I do well. But getting to the right person takes so much time. I need more leads”.

Frankly, many salespeople make it difficult for themselves because they have no idea how to generate leads.

Telemarketing, or cold calling can be a good way to increase sales. But the truth is that most decision makers will not want to hear from you.

Try this as a game – you have to increase sales by 10% for 2012 BUT you’re not allowed to call any new prospects cold. How would you do it?

There is a way to make it more profitable, less time consuming, and a whole lot more FUN!

But many salespeople have to stop trying to make sales the hard way with out of date methods that just annoy their clients.

Invest the time to learn this confidence building, cutting edge method of generating leads – that convert to sales – the easy way.

I attended your workshop as I thought I might be able to get practical help on setting up You tube channels as well as facebook and twitter.

Even though it was not what I expected it to be I definitely found it helpful and the information valuable. I am definitely going to take your advice and get the business onto facebook and for practical help will ask my teenagers. I also got a lot out of the presentation on google places.  I also  gained a lot from your advice on filming testimonials and putting them onto the website etc… We do send out newsletters from time to time but I didn’t really realise how important it was , so I learned a lot from that too. We have been using a SEO company to get us onto the first page of google but have not found much difference in the amount of new patients so we may consider using some of the other options that you spoke about. All in all I learned a lot and now just have to work out how and when I can put it all into practice. Caryn Hildyard, GLEN EIRA PHYSIOTHERAPY CENTRE

What made you decide to attend the workshop in the first place?

  • My lack of knowledge, understanding and the overall concept of using online marketing including the ‘how’, the ‘why’ and the ‘what next’.
  • To see whether this is something that is achievable (ie can I do it) without having to go to an outside company for assistance (being a one person business, I need to keep overheads low).
  • and therefore getting over the ‘fear’ of not just the marketing ideas, but then also knowing how to apply these principles online.

What are the main learning points you gained that you believe will help your business?

  •   how relatively simple it is to get started (eg google places) with limited IT knowledge.
  • that the basics of marketing are still the same (that I still need to know who my target audience are etc etc), and that applying this to online is a matter of changing the manner in which to reach them.
  • nothing to be fearful of!   Get in there, have a go, and experiment with different approaches.

I still have a lot to learn about (a) marketing and (b) how to do this online, but at least I have taken a step in the right direction. Thank you for workshop and for the chance to provide feedback, Jo Bransby, BodyFlexion Personal Training
